We now welcome Damian Freeman to our Tru Irish family.
Damian is a crafter from Enniscorthy in Co. Wexford, Ireland who produces handcrafted wooden pieces including chopping boards, spalted beech tealight bowl and teak keepsake boxes.
I came across Damian and his work on Instagram. The warm wood color scheme consistently ran throughout his page showcasing his craft. With over 160 posts, each image demonstrates the high-quality items he produces.
I knew I had to immediately get in contact with Damian and see if he was interested in joining Tru Irish. Excitedly, he could see the possibility of growing his business and we were more than happy to have him on board.
Damian creates each pieces individually by hand himself in his tiny workshop in Enniscorthy and works with a variety of wood including Teak, Ash and Oak.
As every wood is different, each item of his may vary slightly from the images shown depending on the grain in the wood.
Damian can make commission pieces also with specific instruction, just let us know and we will work with you to get your desired piece. Production time can vary and may take a few weeks in busy periods so please keep this in mind.
As we conversed on several occasions with Damian, we found him to be very humble about his work which is a very endearing characteristic and has made us thoroughly appreciate to be able to work alongside such talented crafters and artists who truly love their craft.
